Vampire's Coffin

Vampire Survivors Guide Path

Vampire Survivors and Vampire Crawlers share ancestry and names, but they are different games. This path keeps Survivors weapon/passive evolution rules separate from Crawlers card, relic, and Crawler rules.

Editorial review Checked against current public sources. Values, unlock requirements, and locations can change after patches.

Practical decision

Same world, different decision model

The creators describe Vampire Crawlers as sharing the world, characters, items, and jokes of Vampire Survivors while moving into a first-person, card-driven dungeon crawler. Shared names are intentional; shared rules are not. Always identify the game before applying a recipe.

Practical decision

Use this path for Survivors weapon evolutions

The Survivors evolution page is organized around weapon, passive item, level, and chest timing. It should answer Garlic plus Pummarola or Whip plus Hollow Heart as Survivors questions without inserting those rules into the Crawlers card-cost and gem-socket workflow.

Practical decision

Use the Crawlers path for cards and sockets

When the question includes mana cost, card color, Crawler triggers, relic systems, or an empty gem socket, use the Crawlers chart. Familiar weapon names do not remove the need to check card roles and run-specific resources.

Practical decision

A simple rule for search results

Weapon + passive + chest language means Survivors. Base Card + Item Card + socket language means Crawlers. If a result does not state that boundary near the answer, do not trust it for the current run.

Build one stable evolution first

For beginners, level one main weapon, hold the matching passive item, then wait for an eligible chest. That is more reliable than chasing several routes at once.

Keep Crawlers rules separate

Crawlers pages cover card cost, color triggers, Crawlers, relics, and gems. Survivors pages cover weapons, passives, chests, and character unlocks.

Names that cause confusion

Garlic, Santa Water, Whip, Magic Wand, Crown, and similar names appear across both games. Check the page title before applying the rule.
